How to Add a Non Skid Sole to Your Slippers

Start with a pair of slippers that have already been felted and dry. Using a Non Skid fabric (I purchased mine from Joann Fabrics online) Trace the shape of the slipper on the fabric.

Cut out the shape of the sole a little larger than needed, begin folding the edge in and pin into place all along the sole.

Once you are happy with the look of the sole and it seems even on both slippers, begin sewing into place. I used Hand Quilting thread and I  went around the sole a couple of times to make sure that it was secure. They turned out super cute!!
