If you find that your favorite pair of felted slippers are starting to wear thin or already have a small hole starting. I use Twill Patches! Yes, that right - iron on repair patches you can find just about anywhere they sell sewing items.
While your iron is heating, cut the patch to size that you need.
Press and hold iron for 30 seconds or more, until the edges stay down. Place slipper on foot and stand until patch cools completely.
Repair complete. I just did these and I am please at how well they are holding up - yeah!
